Message from Mrs Birch

This week, it has been an absolute delight to share our recent Ofsted report with you all and we hope you have all had the opportunity to read it. I am extremely proud of our whole school community to have been graded as good in all areas and look forward to the journey of working on our areas for improvement.

In school, it was fantastic to start our year of sharing assemblies as Team Onyx shared their learning yesterday. I have also heard from Mrs Reynolds that Early Years Nursery Rhymes this morning was adorable. Many thanks to all parents who supported these events.

Staff News

As parents of children in Coral already know, we will be saying a temporary goodbye to Mrs Pritchett next Friday as she starts her maternity leave. We wish Mrs Pritchett all the very best and we look forward to sharing baby news with you all. We will be welcoming Mrs Toncheva to Team Galley Hill as the new class teacher for 4 Coral.

Year 6 Activity Week

Next week, our Year 6 children will be taking part in their activity week - with some going away on their residential with Mrs Spooner, Miss Hosein, Mrs Barnard and Mrs Higgs, and others staying in school for activities with Mrs Field and Mrs Harris. We hope the children all have the most amazing adventures and look forward to hearing all about it. Thank you so much to the staff giving up their week with their own families to take the children away and also to Miss Carfrae who is stepping in to teach 4 Opal on Thursday and Friday.

Sharing Assemblies

Just a reminder that our sharing assemblies continue with Team Emerald presenting their assembly on Thursday 21st November and Team Amethyst sharing their learning on Thursday 28th November. Both assemblies will be at 9am.
